After airport formalities at Lisbon International Airport (LIS), you will be collected outside customs and transferred to the Hotel, by an English-speaking Chauffeur in a deluxe vehicle.

You will have a Drive/Walking Tour in Lisbon with a certified private guide. This city has great diversity and cultural depth, one of the most renowned and culturally rich cities in Europe. You will visit Lisbon's Cathedral, the only building that survived the 1755 earthquake. Afterward, you’ll go up one of Lisbon's seven hills, and, in the Alfama neighborhood you will find São Jorge Castle, and have the chance to enjoy one of the most stunning views of the city. Afterward, you will discover the renovated "Baixa Pombalina", where you will find the ultra-luxurious Avenida da Liberdade (where shoppers can find stores such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, and Onofre, among others). For a true Portuguese experience, you can also discover traditions and heritage in local shops, whose focus is on selling quality national products. 'A Vida Portuguesa', Silva & Feijóo, Fantastic World Of Portuguese Sardines, Casa Macário, Pérola do Arsenal, Vista Alegre, Marques & Sequeira and Pérola de São Mamede are worth the visit. Enjoy the architectural masterpiece that is Rua Augusta Arch, the Santa Justa Lift, and behold the Comércio Square. After returning to your hotel stop at the stylish district of Chiado home to Café ‘a Brasileira’ and sip on Bica—Portuguese espresso— take a moment to admire the remarkable brass-and-wood Art Nouveau interior, the preferred haunt of intellectuals and artists (including Fernando Pessoa and Almada Negreiros) since the early nineteenth century.
Lunch will be served at Solar dos Presuntos. “Whoever comes into this home, enters their own home”. This is the feeling prevailing since 30th October 1974 when Solar dos Presuntos first opened its doors. And that is how it remains after four decades dedicated to the most authentic Portuguese flavors and gastronomic traditions.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a drive/walking tour in Belém with a certified private guide. Originally, Belém was the location of Lisbon’s shipyards and docks, and from here departed the 15th-century voyages that discovered the sea routes to India, East Africa, and Brazil. This rich seafaring heritage is commemorated in Belém, along with extravagant buildings that were funded by the vast wealth that flowed into Portugal back then. Belém offers outstanding architectural attractions like Torre de Belém, Lisbon’s most famous and photographed monument, Mosteiro dos Jeronimos the greatest example of the Manueline style of architecture and the imposing Padrão dos Descobrimentos, a monument to the 15th-century Portuguese explorers, and its amazing panoramic rooftop viewpoint. The Coach Museum is located in Bélem too, and it was an initiative of Queen D. Amélia de Orléans e Bragança, wife of King D. Carlos I (1889-1908), inaugurated it in 1905. It contains an exceptional and unpaired unique collection of richly adorned royal vehicles.

The gastronomical concept is profoundly rooted in the knowledge of its chef, Joachim Koerper. The kitchen is a focal piece of the dining experience as you can actually enter the kitchen. Eleven Restaurant obtained its first Michelin star in November 2005 maintaining the standards ever since.

Today you will visit Colares Cellar. Located between Sintra Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, Colares has been an Appellation Origin since 1908, being the westernmost demarcated region of continental Europe. Its beautiful building dates back to the late 19th century, with an imposing interior housing wooden barrels, casks, and vats totaling more than 1 million litters capacity. Visit the winemaking and stage facilities, learn the process, and end this visit with a wine tasting in the main cellar and winery shop.
Lunch will be served at Incomum Restaurant. This gastronomic space is owned by Chef Luis Santos. His creative dishes, combined with an elegant and refined atmosphere, make this restaurant a wonderful contemporary and welcoming restaurant.
Continue your tour towards Sintra. You will have a drive/walking tour with a certified private guide. Sintra, the Moon Hill, is a place full of magic and mystery, where Nature and Man-made arts combined in such a perfect symbiosis. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you will understand why at first sight. Fall in love with some of the most romantic and astonishing Palaces in the world. The sumptuous and wonderfully atmospheric National Palace of Pena and its Gardens, appear as a wild fantasy of domes, towers, ramparts, and walkways. Both Quinta da Ragaleira, a 19th-century palace covered in impressive decorations and Masonic references, the gardens of Seteais Palace, and the Castle of the Moors, built in the ninth century, are a must-visit.
Dinner will be served at Belcando Restaurant. With two Michelin stars and currently 46th on “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants List”, Belcanto is located in Lisbon’s historic center, offers an attentive, welcoming, and discreet service, and an extraordinary wine selection that showcases some of the best Portuguese wines as well as other celebrated international references. At Belcanto, Chef José Avillez offers a unique gastronomic and sensory journey. Day 4 Explore the Tejo's River South side and indulge in a day of heavenly paired food and wine.

The first stop will be at the 14th-century Palace and Museum of Quinta da Bacalhôa. This is one of the most emblematic wine-producing estates in Portugal, not only because of its awarded table wines but also because of the Muscat wines, the main symbol of this Atlantic region. Discover the mysterious landscape of intricate gardens and vineyards that will lead you into the lake house. Here you can discover the unique pieces of the private art collection of Joe Berardo. The museum includes some quirky and rare pieces like the first tile dated in Portugal. This private experience at Quinta da Bacalhôa will take you to the Palace, and the Bacalhôa Museum and will culminate in a carefully curated wine tasting and private lunch at the palace.
Then, you will visit José Maria da Fonseca, established in 1834, José Maria da Fonseca is one of the leaders in the areas of production and sale of the table and fortified wines. This brand is marketed in more than 70 countries. Built in the XIX century, the House Museum was restored in 1923 by the Swiss architect Ernesto Korrodi and was the residence of the Soares Franco family until 1974. With a façade and gardens of very special beauty, the House Museum has always been associated with the image of José Maria da Fonseca. You will enjoy a private visit to the House Museum and a Super Premium Wine Tasting.
In the evening, step back in time with a visit to a Fado House, Mesa de Frades Restaurant, built in a former chapel in Alfama, with the original tiles and murals still on the walls. On your arrival, lunch will be served at L’and Vineyards Restaurant. L'AND Vineyards seeks to express the new Portuguese gastronomic culture, reflecting our history and our culture and integrating the experience resulting from the Portuguese trip to the East. We value the unique products of the region, land, and sea. With the help of locally preferred producers of organic farming, we use citrus fruits, vegetables, cheeses, aromatic herbs, beef cattle raised in the field, fish, and shellfish from the port of Setúbal, and traditional olive oil from the region, we seek to create a unique gastronomic experience that expresses our identity.
After this lavish meal, enjoy a drive/walking tour with the private driver in Évora. Its well-preserved historic center is home to one of the richest monuments in Portugal, the Roman Temple of Diana in Évora's heart. Its Roman heritage is worth Évora the epithet of the City Museum and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Cathedral was built between the 13th and 14th centuries in Gothic style, it is one of the most important medieval cathedrals in the country. In the 14th century a cloister was built and the statues of the apostles of the main portal, the masterpiece of Portuguese medieval sculpture, were carved. The Church of San Francisco was reconstructed during the reign of D. João II and finished in the time of D. Manuel. Its architecture blends the Gothic, Mudejar and Manueline styles. The Bones Chapel located in the Church of San Francisco was built in the eighteenth century and is entirely lined with human bones. It is known by the famous phrase written at the entrance “We bones that here are, for yours await”. Marveling location for history lovers and travelers who love to explore beyond the ordinary.

Starting from the most traditional Portuguese recipes, the Chef interprets the Alentejo cuisine with great passion, treating each delicacy as unique, challenging the imagination and your senses, he creates nothing but truly inspired fusion dishes.

You will discover Monte da Ravasqueira. Connected to José de Mello's family for several generations, Monte da Ravasqueira is located in the municipality of Arraiolos, one hour away from Lisbon, and covers a vast area of the typical Alentejo landscape. Monte da Ravasqueira enjoys excellent geological and climatic conditions for the production of the best wine that Alentejo can offer, taking advantage of its terroir. The cellar of Monte da Ravasqueira is inspired in Napa Valley, California, and is equipped with the most advanced technology for qualified and rigorous control of the wine-making process. You will have a private guided visit and Premium wine tasting and a visit to the Carriage Driving Museum, one of the best carriage private collections in the country.
Enjoy a drive/walking tour to Arraiolos Village. Arraiolos is a pleasant Alentejo town, whose foundation dates back to the second century BC. The medieval castle was built at the orders of D. Dinis (1279-1325), although the town soon spread beyond its walls. An important part of the town's artistic heritage is the sixteenth-century Salvador church, with some extremely beautiful paintings. The name of this town is well known internationally thanks to the famous Arraiolos carpets, which are produced here by the local craftsmen and women, having been referred to in documents as long ago as the sixteenth century.
After the tour, you will enjoy lunch, at O Alpendre Restaurant. The Chef interprets the Alentejo cuisine with great passion, taking it as his starting point for the original recipes of this gastronomy and treating each delicacy as unique. In this typically Alentejo space we find the typical hospitality of these people. Here, meat from the Alentejo region predominates, such as black pork, veal, and lamb. In terms of "Migas", this is a true temple because the offer ranges from typical Migas to asparagus, tomato, and coriander, among others. The different variations are not there to confuse you, but to invite the discovery of different and subtle flavors of Alentejo gastronomy, based on simple ingredients but with an extraordinary richness when well combined. These will be joined by the ideal pairing. When dessert arrives, we confirmed that Alpendre Restaurant is justly recognized for its conventual sweets: pastel de toucinho, a typical sweet from Arraiolos, and Miga dos Ganhões, a house specialty made with egg and walnut jam.
In the afternoon, you will discover Adega da Cartuxa. Two km from the historic center of Évora, a World Heritage city, and 200 meters from the Cartuxa Convent which inspired its name, the Wine Tourism Cartuxa is located in the former refectory of the Jesuit retirement home, they taught at the University of Évora in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Acquired in the nineteenth century by the Eugénio de Almeida family, the Cartuxa Cellar has undergone several renovations and expansions over time, preserving the richness of its architectural and historical memory. The Cartuxa Cellar - Quinta Valbom is now one of the stage centers of the wines produced by the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. The effort Fundação Eugénio de Almeida Foundation has poured into creating excellent products has been recognized over the years with various prizes. You will have a private guided visit with a wine tasting and regional products.
Dinner will be served at Degust’AR Restaurant. Located on the ground floor of the Sepúlveda Palace building, the Degust’AR restaurant has the gastronomic signature of Chef António Nobre. The menu enhances the Alentejo traditional cuisine, and the Chef develops his creative inspiration by exploring and combining the Mediterranean flavors.

Explore Monsaraz, the graceful medieval village of Monsaraz which maintains the magic from ancient times like few others in the world. Made of lime and schist, this place whispers to us, between the echo of our footsteps in its streets. A lot of magnificent stories could be told about its courageous kings, Knights Templar, brave people, and dames of simple beauty. Suspended in time, the historic village, one of the oldest in Portugal, is a mandatory destination to add to your list of places to visit in Alentejo. Especially after, in 2017, it won the category “Monument Villages”.
If you want a real souvenir from Portugal, this is the place to get it, made with your own hands. There must be 20 pottery shops in São Pedro do Corval, the best town for pottery in all of the country. The pottery is exquisite, the painting is beautiful and at Olaria Patalim, each item is made and fired there and then hand-painted, it's so unique. Here you will have a 15-minute workshop where you can feel the clay with your hands and make a piece or paint it, you can also watch the whole process as you shop.
After the workshop, enjoy Lunch at São Lourenço do Barrocal Restaurant. From the farm to the table, this is the main principle of this place. Only fresh organic, locally grown ingredients are used to elaborate the carefully selected menu. The chef is knowledgeable of its main ingredients and all its secrets and adds a touch of contemporaneity to his dishes.
Then, you will visit the world-renowned Herdade do Esporão olive oil production. The Herdade presents itself as an Estate steeped in history, a producer of outstanding quality wines. The Esporão vines are located in the heart of Reguengos de Monsaraz, where wines are more balanced and seductive, simultaneously thriving and pleasant, luxuriant, and with good aging potential. On your way to the Douro Valley, you will stop at Quinta das Lágrimas. Quinta das Lágrimas has a world-class collection of gardens in its park: romantic, Japanese, medieval, a garden of scents, an organic chef’s garden, and extensive woods. The garden has a rich variety of rare and large trees that have been growing here throughout the centuries, bamboo woods, and pleasant lawns to read and relax to the sound of the over 20 species of birds that live here.
Lunch is waiting for you at Pedro & Inês Restaurant. This place offers a more informal atmosphere and a concept of sharing. It is a cozy space, overlooking the garden and where the old recipes of Quinta das Lágrimas are presented to you.
Then, you will have a drive/walking tour with the private driver in Coimbra. You should visit Coimbra’s University where you might find some students dressed in its traditional black capes with black cassocks, the Old Cathedral from 1139, the historic downtown, and the Santa Clara Monastery.

Day 9 Walk the trail, go bird watching and enjoy a Picnic. This is a day at the nature.

Hiking is on at “Trilho do Javali” Path. Densely populated by shrub species and crossed by waterways, it is the ideal route to observe the local fauna at different times of the day-wild boars, and foxes. Another relaxing activity is bird watching since this place is used for nesting residents and migratory birds. A 1940 meters route with medium demanding difficulty.
Then, enjoy the flavor of the Douro regional products during a Picnic at Quinta de Ventozelo Olive Grove near the river. We got you covered, it includes 1 bottle of white/red/rosé wine, 2 glasses, a wine sleeve, a bottle of water, a towel, hat, food, Palaçoulo’s cutlery, corkscrew, cloth napkins, and everything you might need. Just sit back and enjoy the moment.
After Lunch, you will have a private activity at Sítio dos Prazeres (Pleasures place). Quinta de Ventozelo produces Port and Douro wines. They were chosen Winery of the Year by Wine & Spirits Magazine in 2005 and have received numerous awards since then. Enjoy an audio Guide visit to the center of the Quinta. It includes visits to the interpretative center, the cellar, warehouse, chapel, still, cereal store, and fruit, and vegetable garden. At the end of the visit a Reserve wine tasting.

Enjoy your Dinner at Quinta de la Rosa's Restaurant "Cozinha da Clara". With fabulous views over the river, Quinta de la Rosa's Restaurant was opened in the summer of 2017. Named after the owner’s grandmother whose love of food and entertainment was legendary, the restaurant is called "Cozinha da Clara", literally meaning Claire's kitchen. The philosophy of Cozinha da Clara is to serve local Portuguese cuisine at its best – simplicity is the key, including a touch of the family’s heritage, by adding some of Claire’s favorite recipes. The executive chef, Pedro Cardoso, has worked in the Douro for over 10 years. Using locally sourced products and vegetables from the garden (named “Paradise” by Claire), Pedro has developed many of his recipes from the Tras-os-Montes.

You will discover the Douro Valley on an exclusive cruise in a Vintage Boat, a 66 feet Classic Wooden Yacht, an English ship built in 1957 in the shipyards of Christchurch, in England, with a double hull in mahogany from Honduras, riveted with copper that gives her an added value both in safety and worth. The boat served the British Admirals on their travels to the high seas for the 'exchange' of officers on the battleships. Aboard the ship, and you will enjoy a 4-hour cruise and an amazing lunch. Live moments of intimacy with nature while you travel with emotion along with the history until the times when the rabelos boats moved by the force of the sails and be amazed by the scenarios that the Douro has to offer.
After lunch, you will enjoy a cultural break in Lamego, a drive/walking tour with a private driver. The culture, the architecture, and the heritage present are worth a visit. The well-preserved historical center tells a story of ancient times. Discover the Lamego 13th century Castel and visit the Lamego Museum, where an astounding collection of ancient art and artifacts is displayed within the walls of an18th century bishop’s palace. Among the many highlights are the set of paintings by one of Portugal’s most renowned painters, Grão Vasco, and 16th-century Flemish tapestries that depict the Greek legend of Oedipus. Be sure to visit the fully reconstructed chapel dripping with gold adornments and paintings. Nearby is the Lamego Cathedral, a blend of different architectural styles from various periods. The tower windows are the oldest surviving feature, with their delicately carved capitals providing one of the finest examples of the twelfth-century Romanesque style of architecture. In 1738, Nicolau Nasoni was commissioned to paint the vaulted ceilings. The brightly-colored and well-preserved frescoes taught those worshipers who could not read or write about various episodes in the Old Testament. Your last visit will be to the Shrine Lady of Remedies in Lamego. From one of the central avenues in Lamego, climb to the top of the hill up an imposing baroque staircase with 686 steps ending in a shrine built in the rocaille style in the mid-eighteenth century for the worship of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, although it was not completely finished until 1905. The same Nicolau Nasoni who painted the cathedral ceilings designed some baroque works that decorate this monument, in particular a very beautiful granite fountain next to the shrine itself.

DOC Restaurant it’s a place of enormous allure, blending the grandeur of the vineyard-covered mountains, the serenity of the Douro River, and the riverside villages, it is a place where time stands still, only awakened by the occasional passage of the train. Out of 1,500 wineries nominated around the world for the World’s Best Vineyard, Quinta do Crasto was selected as the #4 top vineyard worldwide. People are friendly and warm, Quinta do Crasto is beautiful and here you may expect nothing but the most lavish traditional lunch prepared with fresh, locally grown products from the property. The meal starts with appetizers usually served in the swimming pool area (designed by architect Souto Moura winner of the Pritzker Prize in 2011) a water mirror with breathtaking scenery. One of the biggest recognitions received by Quinta do Crasto came in 2008, when the Wine Spectator magazine elected the Quinta do Crasto Reserva Old Vines 2005 (from their 70 years old vines), one of the top 3 wines in the world, giving it a 95 rating in one hundred points.
Then you will visit Quinta Nova Luxury Winery House “one of the 9 must-see wineries in the world” – distinguished by American Airlines. Quinta Nova Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extreme beauty in the heart of the Douro Valley. This property is prior to 1764 and historical research confirms it was owned by the Portuguese Royal Family. You will have a private visit, you will know in detail all production of wines, vineyard, a winery of 1764, underground wine cellar and end with a Premium wine tasting, like a true royal family member.
Dinner will be served at Terraçu's Restaurant. Indulge yourself in the delicacies that Quinta Nova’s restaurant team has to offer. The menu appeals to the senses and emotions, in a relaxed and interesting way. On your way to Porto, you will have lunch and a visit to Quinta da Aveleda. The history of the Quinta da Aveleda estate is fabulously lost in time, there are countless records of this estate after the 16th century, making it possible to trace the record of the first bottle sold by the label of Quinta da Aveleda back in 1870. Aveleda is a name that spans several generations, with successive generations of the family totally devoted to winemaking. At Quinta da Aveleda, more than a guided tour to the bottling area, gardens, old winery, and tasting room, you will taste the labor of love of generations: The Alvarinho wine. Day 13 Relish a private Porto city tour and Port wine tasting just to end this day with the most amazing view and the incredible Portuguese light.

You will have a Drive/Walking Tour in Porto with a certified private guide. We will show you the highlights of the city in this private Porto tour. Either by car or by walking, it is up to you. Starting in the historic center we will take you to the Clérigos Tower, designed and decorated by the Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni, located close to the unparalleled Lello Bookstore, considered by Lonely Planet one of the three most beautiful bookstores in the world. And if you are a fan, you will know that Porto is the city that inspired J.K.Rowling to write Harry Potter, starting in this library. Across Aliados Avenue, you will find São Bento Railway Station, the interior is covered in twenty thousand painted tiles, depicting historical landmarks of the city. Continue your Porto tour, towards Santa Catarina street the famous Majestic Café is located. Then, enjoy one of the most beautiful views over the Douro River from Porto Cathedral. Originally built in the 12th century, Porto Cathedral still has the original merlons and twin towers, although the towers are now topped by 18th-century additions. It has undergone various alterations over the centuries, then, you will visit the Stock Exchange Palace of Porto “Palácio da Bolsa”, the building with the most different architectural styles in Porto. Last but not least, you should visit the Church of Saint Francis which is the most prominent Gothic monument in Porto, and is also noted for its outstanding Baroque inner decoration. Decorated with exuberant gilt woodwork and gold leaf “Talha dourada”.
Lunch will be served at Barão de Fladgate Restaurant. The Restaurant is located across the river from Porto city center, at Taylor's wine cellars and it enjoys a spectacular location and atmospheric setting. On the grounds of Taylor’s Port cellars, you will be amazed by the magnificent views across the Douro River to the old historic center of Porto, a UNESCO-protected urban landscape. Barão de Fladgate Restaurant offers a contemporary interpretation of traditional cuisine where the accent is on fresh local ingredients and on showcasing the authentic flavors of Portugal. Named after John Fladgate, the celebrated 19th century Port shipper and partner of Taylor’s who was awarded the title of Baron for his services to viticulture, the Barão Fladgate restaurant celebrates 20 years of inspiring fine cuisine and excellent service.
Then, you will visit Taylor’s Wine Cellars and savor Port wine tasting. For many, Taylor’s is Porto’s most illustrious wine-producing house, and drinking its wines is the most sublime experience. Created in 1692, this is one of the oldest houses still maintaining its family character and dedicating itself exclusively to the production of Port wines. A visit to Taylor’s cellars is an absorbing and enriching experience that provides a unique journey into the fascinating world of Port wine. This private Port wine tour is meant to be enriching to your Port wine knowledge. Learn as much as you want about the Port lodges and cellars as well as the production of Taylor’s Port. Before dinner, enjoy yourself for a moment, a Sunset Cocktail with Port Wine while contemplating the most amazing Sunset Porto has to share with you at the rooftop with 360º views over the Port wine cellars and the Douro River.
