It is the eighth favorite destination, just behind the US (in 6th place) and the Caribbean (in 7th place). Long stays or weekend getaways were preferred by luxury travelers who chose, in order of preference, vacation periods of 14, 10, and 7 nights. When deciding on one destination or another, luxury travelers are very clear about their three priorities before making a reservation. The vacation destination being fully refundable in case of last-minute cancellation and flexibility in booking and changing stays are the main factors mentioned, followed, as before the pandemic, by service excellence, gastronomy, and wines. The country remains in the sights of investors, who continue to find it attractive, and resilience remains the watchword in a scenario that tends to be post-pandemic.
